Spool File Page Counter SDK – Wrong page analysis

Hi Guys,

We are evaluating the Spool File Page Counter SDK to analyse PDF files and during our testing we seem to have a page reported as BW when its actually colour.

The page in the PDF clearly has blue lines on it. Other colour pages in the document are correctly reported.

Any help would be appreciated, this appears to be a great solution for us but we do need accuracy as well as performance.

I want to keep visible bookmarks table of contents in the left panel of Acrobat Reader when view the PDF file

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

I tested your suggestion with the office version Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016, but it was not successful.

doc2any.exe -useoffice 1 -useprinter -showofficeui test.docx test.pdf

Attached you’ll find the source (test.pdf), the result from the doc2any conversion (test.pdf) with your suggested command below and the manual converted version (test-expected.pdf) with the bookmarks in it.

I created the test-expected.pdf manually using MS Word and configured these option,

I want to keep visible bookmarks table of contents in the left panel of Acrobat Reader when view the PDF file

This leads to the result I wanted from doc2any conversion as well – the always visible bookmarks table of contents in the left panel of Acrobat Reader.

I want to keep visible bookmarks table of contents in the left panel of Acrobat Reader when view the PDF file

These feature is very important to me, because I want to convert hundreds of large MS Word documents which are heavily used by readers. And without such an always visible ToC its hard to browse content from a e.g. 80 pages PDF.

Please come back to me with a solution for this bookmarks issue.

Thanks for your message, if you want to keep the visible bookmarks table of contents in the PDF file when you open it in Adobe Reader, you shouldn't use the -useprinter option, you may run following command line to convert your DOCX document to PDF file again,

doc2any.exe -useoffice 1 -showofficeui test.docx test.pdf

If you still can't get it work properly, please send to us your sample DOCX document, we will test it and come back to you asap.
